Zach was pretty much out cold with his face on the table. He didn't get any sleep when he was at home. It was just to painful to be home. He didn't like being home at all. Even if Sydney was there, he just couldn't be home. He was slightly awake though. His eyes were open, dull though. His coal black hair covered his face, his Yankee's hat on his head too. He had on a black striped polo and his black sweatshirt hood was over his head.
He sighed. He was so tired, and he didn't eat in a while. He really should, but he didn't. He just couldn't bring himself to do so. It was just like when Sydney was forced to move away from him. Though, this time he still had her, but not his baby girl. He sighed. He closed his eyes.
The people here just ignored him. He was in the back corner of the fast food place anyway, so most people ignored him. He didn't even care if the table was hard, he wasn't going to fight it. Or get up for that matter. He was kind of lucky that he spent the last four days alone. Sydney didn't know how bad he had gotten after not eating while he was sick.
Sure he ate when she was around, but when he was sick he would end up puking it up in the bathroom because he couldn't hold it down. He had a hangover on top of all of this. Next time, he's not drinking six beers in ten minutes. That was probably his worst idea since Melissa kissed him.
He bit is lip and yawned. He was hoping that Sydney would show up, and then he wasn't. He didn't want to be yelled at for not eating, and looking like crap. Along with sleeping in a fast food place. He yawned again, and fell asleep.
Someone was going to wake him up soon anyway.

Sydney figured she had to leave her bed at some point. Every day for the past week she laid in her bed watching Tv and 20 boxes of tissues just in case she started sobbing again out of her depression and sadness. She was starving out of the no food for a long time. Just water. Barely. Burger King felt like a good solution. She had to gain some weight back. Her without a week of food made her lose 20 pounds at most and made her look...well...not as curvy I should say. She sighed as she entered the fast food restaraunt. And Zach was still on her mind. Well she just wondered where he was. SHe turned to her left and saw Zach basically asleep in the dark corner of the place. She rolled her eyes and walked up to the counter and ordered.
And she seriously couldn't help but spend twenty bucks there on just food for herself. She sighed and walked toward the table where Zach was. She put the tray down and sat and started to eat. The table was right next to a window so she just stared out at the passing cars on the busy street. As she ate she didn't dare disturb Zach right now. She had her problems right now and he had his own. The last thing he needed was for Sydney to get too involved into his business. But she still kept a wary eye out on him. She took a few small glances as him as she finished the last of her food. She finished and got up, dumped the garbage and walked up to the table again and sat right next to Zach. She would just wait until he noticed she was there. Or wait until he talked to her.

Zach was out cold, and yet he didn't like it. He never did sleep anymore. Huge case of insomnia, he guessed. He heard a tray hit the table and he opened his eyes. He groaned slightly. "urrggggh." He groaned. He didn't pick up his head. He just didn't want to.
He looked at Sydney, through his hair. HE sighed. He watched her get up and then sit back down next to him. "Hey. You okay?" He asked. Who was he to say anything? He was skinny as hell, dehydrated and on top of that sleeping in a fast food restaurant.
He looked at her and lifted his head up. He smiled at her. "At least you've stopped crying." He said to her. He kissed her forehead and wrapped his arm around her waist.
He sighed o himself. He was so tired, and looked awful. He needed to go to the hospital, but wouldn't bring himself to tell anyone to take him. He wasn't going admit it at all. He was to stubborn to. He smiled at her. Even in his face was skinny, though he wasn't going to let her move his hair. He would just slap her hand away if she did.

Sydney heard Zach make a noise but wasn't really going to respond to a moan. She sighed and stared out the window more. Now instead of snow it was raining. Which made her even more depressed which was weird because she loved it when it rained. It was peaceful in a way. Not this time though.
Sydney just wasn't in the mood to talk either. She just needed someone there for her. Thank god she found Zach. Though he was so tired she was surprised he even noticed she was there. She looked at him but only made a silent "..yeah..." And as she said it her voice cracked. She hasn't been talking much since Ember passed. She smiled when he commented about her not crying anymore. Honestly she thought that was a miricle.
She loved it when Zach wrapped his arms around her waist. She laid her head on his shoulder and sighed. "So what are you doing here?" She asked him. She still stared out the window and watched as the colage of cars zoomed by on the street. She sighed felt another tear fall down. But she wiped it away before Zach could see. Or she hoped he couldn't.

Zach smiled at her. He kissed her head again. He smiled at her. He brushed a piece of hair out of her face. He started to play with her hair. He kissed her face again. "I love you." he said. He smiled at her. He brushed his bangs out of his face, forgetting that he was so skinny. He smiled at her for a moment.
He instantly frowned and brushed his hair back into his face. He didn't want her to see his face. He looked down at the table for a moment. He knew she was still crying. He brought his hand back to her face and looked up at her.
"Hey Hey. I know Ember's gone. But we can't keep being depressed and crying. Gabriel yelled at me, Hugo got me drunk..." He cut off instantly after he said that he got drunk. Fuck. He promised he would stop doing that. He was in trouble now.
He kept twisting his fingers in her hair, looked at her through his hair. He smiled at her though, trying to stop her from crying. He brought his other hand that was around her waist and picked her up. "You got lighter.." He commented. He put her in his lap and he held her close to him.
"Please stop crying. We can always have another baby you know..." He said softly into her ear. "Or we can adopt a kid or two if you want to." He said. He always said that not trying to tell her he rather adopt, but it was jsut a thought.

Sydney could feel Zach's lips against her head for a second and then a breeze. Sydney closed her eyes and then opened them again after about five seconds after Zach spoke that he loved her. She really needed that. She sniffled and whispered in a cracked voice "Love you too" She coughed. She was getting sick at the moment. Either it was just the annual cold or from her crying for a week straight and not leaving the bed for anything else besides food, and bathroom useage. And what was the most disgusting she hadn't taken a shower for a week. Well at least she did today. Thank god. She looked like she had some type of really serious flu that if you moved you would barf or something. But not anymore but her eyelids were still pretty swolen from the tears.
Sydney just listend to his words. She knew that he was only trying to tell her to at least try to get over it. And for the moment she kind of was. It was still getting there. I mean Ember had just died about a week ago. And it shouldn't be that easy to get over the little flesh and blood that is yours to hold and care for. But when Zach said drunk...hold it. This was a weird moment for her...she didn't get angry. She just sighed and continued to stare out of the window with a few tears still falling down from a little bit ago. She couldn't even look at him though. She looked horrible and she knew damn well that he did to. She wasn't going to fight over that.
And another she was not about to fight about him drinking again. And she thought that she couldn't even blame him. Zach probably loved Ember more than anything else in this world besides Sydney and then she is just gone out of his life like that. But in Sydney's situation it wasn't too different. She sighed and bit her lip. She wiped the tears away probably smearing her eyeliner.
Sydney could feel herself soon picked up. And like she usually would do she would fight but not this time. She just went along with it. She put her forehead on his and looked into his eyes for a little bit. She loved Zach more than anything in the whole world. If she would die she would want it to be in his arms. That's where she felt safest. She leaned in to kiss him. Though they hadn't kissed in a while his lips were just as soft and moist as they usually were. She wrapped her arms around his neck and just took in this moment. She needed some support. And Zach was exactly the person to help with that.

Zach looked at her. She was still really upset. Him on the other hand, he just well... took it like when Sydney left. His heart was ripped out of his chest. At least, that was what it felt like. He sighed. He looked at her. "Oh no. Your not getting sick too are you?" He asked. He held her close to him. He didn't want her to get sick too.
He looked at her. She didn't get upset about him getting drunk? But then she was upset too, so maybe she wouldn't yell at him. He was taking it worst then she was in a way. Sure she sat at home all week crying, but he wouldn't even stay in the house. He was out, doing something. Anything. Trying to get a job even. Though, no one would higher a highschool drop out who should be going to collage now.
Yep. That's right. Zach was suppose to be in collage. He was a year older then Sydney was, and yet he dropped out of school. He just couldn't stay there. It was just too boring. No one stopped him. He didn't have parents to yell at him for making a bad choice and ruining his life by doing that.
He held her close to him in his lap and kissed her back, though it wasn't like before he was sick. He just weakly kissed back. He didn't have the energy to kiss back that well. He felt her wrap her arms around his neck and he pulled away after a moment. Sure he didn't want to, but he did anyway.
There was just something wrong with Zach at the moment. He didn't want to do anything. He was dehydrated, and underweight. He probably suffered from anorexia if you put it simply. When ever he was upset, he didn't eat. Unlike a lot of other guys, Zach didn't eat when he was upset. He just couldn't bring himself too.
He looked away from her, and out the window. His hair wasn't hiding the left side of his face, the side of his face that was facing her. "I'm sorry..I just don't feel like kissing.....sorry..." He said weakly, like he wasn't really paying an y attention. [/blockquote]
