ASHLEY BRYAN O'CONNOR
But everybody's gone
I've been here for too long
To face this on my own
Well, I guess this is growing up
And I'm thinking of the worst things that I could say to you
Name|| Ashley Bryan O'Connor
Nick Name|| Definitely Ash
Gender|| Male
Birthday|| July 24
Age || 18
Grade || Junior
Sexual Orientation|| Straight
Ethnicity || Scotch-Irish and English
Face Claim || Adrian Asphyxia
and this never will be right with me

Eyes|| Blue
Height|| 5'8"
Weight|| 130 lbs.
Body Type|| Skinny
Skin Type|| Fair
Distinguishing Features|| He has scars all over his right arm and cheek from when he was in the car accident and the window shattered
Tattoos|| His mom's name in purple cursive on his left inner wrist
Piercings|| ALL up his ears, his right eyebrow and his tongue

Secrets|| Ash is secretly so afraid of fast moving things, he can cry and he gets shaky and panicked around like, ATVs and stuff that.
Fears|| Fast moving objects, cars for the most part, heights, drowning, feeling helpless
Strengths|| smart, goofy, humourous, mature, comic relief
Weaknesses|| insomniac, awkward, confused, obscure, cry-baby
Dreams|| To be a lawyer and to graduate high school would be nice
Over All Personality|| Ash can be a real asshole. It all depends on first impressions in his mind. If he's rude to you off the bat, don't expect things to ever get any better. Also, sometimes his first impression of you doesn't make sense to anyone but him. You could be nothing but nice to him, and he might still hate you. It just depends on the circumstances.
He also has a very dry, sarcastic sense of humour that most people can't catch. They'll think he's serious when he's complimenting their mental capacity and such. This takes wit on his part, which is something that most people don't possess.
Also, once you're Ash's friend, you're pretty much there for life. If he takes a liking to you, it's hard to shake him, and he's very devoted and loyal. If you ever got into a serious relationship with him, expect only love and devotion from him.
then we both go down together

Other Important Family Members|| His grandparents were in custody of him for three years before he was eighteen
History|| He would never say that my past was bad. It went rather well, considering all of the factors that were thrown at him. He'd been born to a single mother, Cameron O'Connor, because his father had backed out of the marriage when he'd heard she was pregnant, and then fled the next morning. Ash likes to picture him in London, England, still alone, but happy. He doesn't think he'd like to picture him unhappy, or especially with another family. But they did well without him. Ash's mom had a solid job, and her mother, a retired nurse, had no problem watching him when his mother needed to work. Of course, his mom felt awful that she couldn't spend more time with him, but he honestly doesn't remember those times. He was a toddler, and as long as he had someone giving him juice and cookies and kissing his scrapes when he cried, he was happy. But as he got older, Ash went to school, and it worked out better for his mom. She could go to work right after putting him on the school bus, then rush off to work. His grandma got him off the bus, and an hour later, his mom came home. It was no big deal, and she made the money she needed to support Ash while making him feel loved. She always pretended, even to herself, that she was flat out broke, which Ash thought was funny. She bought only what she needed. He thinks she might have been waiting for one day, where she could look in her bank account and be surprised by the sum she had earned. And yeah, she definitely earned it. She was a great mom, and a great worker, and always managed to make Ash feel loved and well taken care of.
When Ash was fifteen, his mom was driving him home from a party that he wasn't even supposed to be at. She was more than angry. She was about to explode. He was fifteen after all. It was raining like crazy, and the roads were slick with oil that hadn't drained away. It wasn't his mom's fault, and it wasn't his either. Not really, anyway, but it still happened regardless. At an intersection, a teenage girl--who'd actually been at the same party he'd just recently been ripped away from--barreled into his mom's car. His mom died and he fractured my spine, which has left him paralyzed from the waist down. The girl, of course, totaled her car and broke four ribs and her leg, so it wasn't like she walked away unscathed.
Unable to let go, Ash's grandparents moved themselves out of the tiny town in Michigan where they had lived with him after the accident, and also the town where he had grown up. He was sixteen by the time he'd finally gotten out of rehab, and as people were getting their permits and even their licenses, he was still terrified around cars. Obviously, he had no choice but to be in them, but he was always on edge, especially because he could remember tracing the rainy streets of that town and how that had turned out. So they moved. It didn't take long for doctors to add anti-depressants to the long list of medications he was already taking, for ADHD and pain management, along with others that he could barely name, let alone know what they were for. And even though he'd left the town where he couldn't move on, Ash was still depressed. He failed his junior year of high school again. He hadn't really failed the first time, just been so absent due to rehab, that he lost all the credits he needed. The second time, he was too depressed to function. By the time he was eighteen and still a junior in high school, it occurred to him that he should maybe get over it. And he did. It was easier than he'd expected. He just needed to let go and find something else to focus on. And that became school. It was a surprise to his teachers when he started pulling out high A's and making high honors and being admitted to the honor society, because just the previous year, he'd been so immersed in himself that all he could manage were F's. He immediately got moved up levels in all of his classes, and is now in mostly AP and honors classes.
