SOPHIA ROWAN SOKOLOV
Don't don't tell me when it's coming, no
Don't don't, I just wanna see it for myself
Don't breathe
Don't make a sound, 'cause the song won't stop when the tape runs out
And I'm thinking of the worst things that I could say to you
Name|| Sophia Rowan Sokolov
Nick Name|| Sophie
Gender|| Female
Birthday|| June 13
Sexual Orientation|| Straight
Ethnicity || English and Russian
Face Claim || Ellen Page
and this never will be right with me
Hair|| It's about shoulder length and it's dark brown
Eyes|| Almond shaped and brown, but also kind of green
Height|| 5'6"
Weight|| 126 lbs.
Body Type|| Average. Not stick skinny, not fat, with a decent amount of muscle on her.
Skin Type|| Fair
Distinguishing Features|| None really
Tattoos|| None
Piercings|| Her ears each once
Style|| Sophie loves earthy colours, with orange tossed in. She's always wearing jeans and a t-shirt, and she doesn't own a pair of shoes besides her old, wrecked black Converse. Sophie's very tied to peace signs and forest green colours. Her clothes are lazy, but well put together. She definitely always chooses comfort over price and fashion and loves to just wear her own clothes instead of following the fluctuating fashion trends which are so hideous they only stay around for three months at a time. Sophie's style is consistent and comfy, and totally her own thing.
I'm tongue tied and terrified of what I'll say.

Secrets||
Fears||
Strengths|| Gusty, imaginative, adventurous, dedicated, moral
Weaknesses|| Danger-seeking, unrealistic, adventurous, stubborn, self-sacrificing
Dreams|| World peace, which she knows will never happen, but thinks is a good goal, and to live in the country when she grows up.
Over All Personality||
Gutsy(+)/Danger-seeking(-): Sophie is brave and will stand up for what she thinks is right, no matter what. She loves standing up for what she thinks is right, even if she needs to do something dangerous. Sophie is all for courage and couldn't imagine ever backing down from something.
Imaginative(+)/Unrealistic(-): She's creative and always daydreaming in class, and if she could have one wish, it would be that she could live in her dreams. She loves fantasy books and things that aren't real, and especially loves thinking up ideas and plans, even if she knows there is no way that it will ever happen.
Adventurous(+): Sophie will never back down from a challenge. She loves rock climbing and cliff-diving, swimming and scuba diving. She'll try anything, like she was built without the fear gene. Of course, this isn't always good and she's sustained quite an amount of injuries over the years due to her lack of self-denial. If you need to sway Sophie to do something, the correct way to do it would be to phrase it as a challenge.
Dedicated(+)/Stubborn(-): Sophie isn't one to quit a project midway. If she starts something, she's determined to finish it. Sophie knows her capabilities and limitations, though she tends to misjudge her limitations and will overexert herself, refusing to stop something if it's already been started.
Moral(+)/Self-sacrificing(-): Sophie believes that she knows what is right and what is wrong, and will do anything to avoid doing the latter. She will give herself up to save the whole of something, purely because she believes that this is the right thing to do.
Summary: Sophie's motto could be "nothing is impossible," or "live free or die trying." She hates when things get out of her control, and hates to see people hurt. She loves nature and all natural things, and has a habit of catching wild animals and taking them home with her. Seeing people or animals in pain is one of the worst things she can imagine, but she doesn't mind if she herself is in pain in the place of someone else. Sophie loves adventure, and will try anything herself.
then we both go down together
Father|| Christopher Sokolov, 57, English professor
Mother|| Elisabeth Sokolov-Peterson, 52, physician
Siblings| CJ Sokolov, 14. Alexa Sokolov, 20.
Pets|| Kafka, the silver tabby kitten, her brother's dogs, Terri and Teddy, the black labs, two snakes, Mollie and Lennie. A bunch of lizards, a bunch of fish and two doves, March and Merri.
Other Important Family Members|| None of very much importance.
History|| When Sophie was born, Christopher and Elisabeth knew she was destined to be stubborn. She refused to be born until three days later, waiting until she was perfectly ready. Sophia Rowan Sokolov was born strong and healthy, with a powerful set of lungs which cried mercilessly through the night and day, exhausting her poor mother, who received no help from her father. Christopher was never one for babies, but he liked children well enough. The only thing he could do was watch Alexa, their three year old toddler and keep her busy while Elisabeth took care of the screaming Sophie. And Sophie continued to grow just as stubborn, just as passionate about all she believed.
When Sophie herself was three, Chris and Lizzie were blessed with their first boy, something Chris had always wanted. And with the birth of CJ, Chris paid full attention to his baby boy, which Sophie and Lexi had been neglected. And Sophie was stuck in the middle, sandwiched as the middle child who received less attention than her endearing little brother and rebellious older sister. The only time Sophie ever got the attention that she required was when she was climbing the cabinets and taking the inevitable plunge to the kitchen tiles below, bruises and scrapes the seeds to her growing desire for attention. If Lexi was going to fight her parents every step of the way, Sophie could sit back and watch until they were done, and there was a pause. Then she'd pull the kamikaze moves, the adventurous plots that required her parents to be there. Sophie never crawled, but simply pulled herself up on a table ledge and began walking.
As a child, Sophie saw herself as a tomboy, and her parents saw her as contrary and fresh. Sophie played in the mud and kept worms as pets, something her mother found disgusting and she forced her husband to deal with the squirming pink things she would find in dirty plastic containers on the kitchen counters. Sophie made friends, and she lost them, making new ones, as was the way with children. When Sophie was seven, Chris and Liz moved the family to Hampton, New Hampshire, a place Sophie adored. There were more woods than there were back in England, and more cliffs and lakes to swim in. Sophie took up swimming and diving, a sport that would follow her through high school.
When Sophie entered high school, she was immediately dubbed the nature freak, always having some picture of the snakes she had caught in her garden and kept in an aquarium in her closet. She was adventurous and ambitious, joining environmental club, and eventually becoming captain when she was a junior, as well as captain of swim team as a junior, as well, when there were no seniors to take the job for her.

Role Play Sample|| Sophie paused, a hesitation that seemed to last a lifetime. The rocks under her toes cut the soles of her feet, the height she was at seemed dizzying. But only for an instant before Sophie peeled her forest green tunic off her body, standing there in an old, navy-coloured swimsuit and shorts. It was cold, but it was probably only the height that made her feel so cold. Plus, Sophie knew the water would be colder. As she toed the edge of the cliff, the glanced at the rushing waterfall next to her, pouring down the face, a kamikaze plunge to the lake below, a plunge that Sophie was going to take. No, she wasn't stupid enough to jump in the waterfall. She was a distance away from that, and she wasn't truly that stupid. She knew that if she followed the waterfall, she'd get dashed against rocks and turned upside down until she was battered and bloody, landing in the lake below. No, no, no. Sophie was daring, but not dumb. She had restrictions, in theory, though she was sure one day she'd find the courage to follow the waterfall down, down, down to the gaping pool beneath her, which must have been thirty, or thirty-five feet deep, a yawning black mouth to swallow her, full of fishes and teeming with life.
She jumped, a calculated and careful leap, away from the waterfall, away from the edge of the lake. Sophie smiled as she tilted her body at an angle, spinning herself in a gymnastics twist in the air before her fingertips broke the water, slicing it away from her body. The water was icy and frozen against her skin, a cold reminder of the winter months far behind her. It was July, and if she wanted to swim, she was allowed to. Even if the water was cold as the Arctic ocean. Sophie peeked her eyes open, the world blurry and unfocused through the murky water. A fish flitted in front of her face, and she reached out to touch it, but it was gone in moments. Her lungs burned with lack of oxygen, and she propelled herself to the surface, out of her fantasyland and into the real world.
"Sophie, that looked so dangerous!" her best friend, Christine cried. She was perched on the edge of the lake, staring into it's depths, then at Sophie, her blonde, wavy hair brushing the surface and floating. "And then you didn't come up!" Sophie rolled her eyes, swimming to the edge of the lake and heaving herself out onto the bank. "I'm fine," she argued, brushing her damp brown hair out of her eyes. "I've done it before. It's easy." Her brown eyes were shining, and her face was absolutely glowing. She stood up and fished for a towel on the shore, wrapping herself in it, shivering slightly. She pulled a red corner up to her mouth, biting the fabric.
"I saw a fish," she said. "It was great. It was prettier than my fish. I want it." Sophie wished that she had brought a net to catch the fish in, a cooler to keep it wet until she got it home to introduce it to her other fish. "I think that'd be fun," Christine added sarcastically and rolling her eyes. She stretching out on the shore, her long legs tanned under her jean shorts.
